Cool Tools for the 21st Century Classroom

Life is Edu-good!

March6

Another month of 2013 has gone by and once again, I am reminded of the many awesome aspects of my life—both personally and professionally—all because of taking the time to join the #edugood 365 Photo Project.

For those of you new to the concept, it’s the opportunity to spend a year documenting and sharing all of the positive happenings in your classroom—and life—through the lens of a camera and an awesome “cool tool” such as ShutterCal, a web resource and app that allows users to create a photo-based calendar.

I know I’ve said this before and this probably won’t be the last, but if you haven’t joined the #edugood 365 Photo Project—consider doing so! Creating a visual timeline of the happenings in both your classroom and life outside of school, is time well spent! Really—the results are amazing! See for yourself by checking out my ShutterCal featuring the students in the BASD, a place where life is edu-good!

Classroom Connection:

Besides the awe-factor associated with being able to take a cumulative look at the learning that takes place in your school environment, there are a number of educational benefits associated with creating a project like this for your classroom and/or with your students. Chech them out by visiting my Join the #edugood 365 Photo Project post.
