Cool Tools for the 21st Century Classroom

Say Hello to Printer Friendly Google Forms

June22

google drive logoFrom surveys to quizzes to exit tickets, I love utilizing Google forms in my classroom. In fact, they are some my most favorite items in my Google Drive account. Well, it looks like things just got better for form fanatics like me! Earlier this week Google shared some more tech love with its announcement that forms can now be generated in a printer friendly format.

Yep, it’s true! In comparison to the old method of printing forms, each question in the new layout now makes it pretty simple for individuals—students, colleagues, parents—to complete when printed on paper.

Feel like giving this new feature a try? Then just create a form and press the print button!

Classroom Connection:

As much as I prefer to have a paperless classroom, sometimes there is just a need to have a hard copy of a document. That said, the new printer-friendly version of forms will be a useful addition to Google Drive for both teachers and students.
