Cool Tools for the 21st Century Classroom

The 12 Digital of Days of Christmas: Resource #7

December10

thinglink santa hat2 transCombining Treasure #7 with Hour of Code, an initiative to promote programming in schools… Well, if you’re a Geeky Girl (or guy) like me—it doesn’t get any better than that!

That’s right! If you’re looking for a fabulous holiday activity students will love, then give them the opportunity to build and animate an awesome holiday card using basic JavaScript. And the best part? Students will be able to customize the colors, lights, animation and message, and then share their personalized digital holiday greeting with family and friends.

There has never been a better time for students to start learning how to create with code!

BTW—this cool tool is approrpriate for ages 6+ with no prior coding experience required.
