Happy New Year!
Live from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware… Happy New Year to all Edutech for Teachers fans near and far!
Here’s to 12 months of happiness, 52 weeks of fun, 365 days of laughter and 8,760 hours of learning to use all sorts of new cool tools and gadgets! Of course, I’m wishing you lots of love and success as well!
2014 will begin with some major changes for this Geeky Girl! Yep, beginning on January 6, I will be transitioning back into a full-time instructional technology coaching position—a move that involves some mixed emotions. Although I am super excited to have the opportunity to expand our K-12 tech program and to write a brand-new computer curriculum, I’m also sad about leaving my Language Arts classroom which includes 28 really neat, fun and talented students. The silver lining is that I will have now the chance to impact their knowledge and skills beyond sixth grade. It doesn’t get much better than that!
Actually, we all have another year to influence the educational world and the students who live in it. Regardless of where your journey takes you, I hope it’s an amazing one!
Congrats on the new role! Your students and teachers are SO fortunate to have you and your instructional tech knowledge and skills!
Thank you so much! I’m really looking forward to taking our tech program to the next level!
