Listen to any article from the Web, on the go, anywhere, anytime! Really? Yep, it’s true! With SoundGecko, a free service that converts text to mp3 files, users can multi-task while listening to articles located on the Internet.
It’s as simple as finding an article of interest, emailing the URL to SoundGecko and hanging out while the mp3 is being processed. Once the text to audio conversion is complete, the user receives an email that looks something like this:
SoundGecko can be utilized without creating an account, but additional features are provided to registered users. For example, mp3s can be synched to home, work and mobile devices using Google Drive and Dropbox.
