Cool Tools for the 21st Century Classroom

Adomatic-ally Create a Campaign Commericial

September22

Bring the U.S Presidential Campaign to life in your classroom with Adomatic, a very cool interactive brought to you by the National Constitution Center—one that allows users to create their own campaign commercial.

What are you waiting for? The crew is ready, the camera is loaded, the lights are on—you’re only seconds away from starring in your very own presidential ad!

C’mon you know you’ve always dreamed about this moment! So step right up, add a photo, choose your party (Democratic, Republican or Great New Party—which is similar to a Saturday Night Live spoof) then select three issues important to you. And just like that—it’s your turn to run for president!

Check out the Adomatic example I created below using a favorite student of mine—Blake, who also doubles as my nephew.

Challenge: Can you determine the campaign issues I selected?

Challenge answer: Healthcare, the economy & immigration.

Classroom Connection:

Besides giving students the opportunity to complete an engaging and motivating activity, use Adomatic to generate a discussion and/or debate about the issues of importance in the upcoming Presidential election.

Go for it—create your TV commercial right here, right now!
