Cool Tools for the 21st Century Classroom

Guanajuato: The Return

And so… Today began my second journey to Salvatierra, Mexico to participate in a global exchange program via Penn State and Guanajuato University—and I can hardly wait for the next ten days to unfold!

Not only am I looking forward to seeing my friends and colleagues, but I’m equally excited to meet and work with the students at the prepa (high school). It should be a great time—especially when I have the opportunity to complete some digital projects with them—all of which I intend to share with all of you!

In addition to spending time in the schools and with my host family, we will also have the chance to experience the Cervantino International Festival, the largest and most important in all of Mexico. Dubbed a “cultural buffet”, this event features over 2,000 artists from five continents as well as a variety of musical, theatrical and dance venues. I’m sure it will be as neat as it sounds!

Stay tuned for photos and videos of an incredible place and its amazing people!
