Cool Tools for the 21st Century Classroom

It’s that time of year again!

March16

Spring is supposed to be a teacher’s favorite time of the year, right? It’s Daylight Saving Time, warmer weather is approaching, and summer is just around the corner. What could be better?

But then again, this time is also synonymous with administering those dreaded state standardized tests. I don’t know about you, but my school began the process of assessing students earlier this week. And of course, this event sparked the annual debate regarding whether these requirements are improving education in America, or if is this “one size fits all” mandate is actually failing our kids.

Regardless of where you stand on the issue, everyone can appreciate the humor depicted in the cartoon shown above. I know it that it certainly gave me a good laugh!
