Infographic of the Week: The Human Subway Map

April29

Hey, science, health and PE teachers!  Here’s a very cool visual for you—an infographic depicting the human body, subway map style.  “Underskin” traces the routes of eight different systems within the body (i.e. Digestive, Respiratory, Arterial, etc.), and highlights the major connection points.

Be sure to check out the details of this infographic using the Zoom.it tools embedded below.

(Infographic obtained from the Cool Infographics blog.)

Classroom Connection:

Utilize the Underskin infographic to teach students about the various systems of they body—where they are located, how they are connected and/or how they work together to make us what we are!

This infographic would also make a pretty neat classroom poster as well. (Use the nifty Block Posters web tool to create your poster.)

Infographic of the Week is a series designed to promote the use of infographics in the classroom.
